ISHLT is seeking member volunteers to help support the launch of
ExpertLink, the new micro-mentoring program for members of the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation.
Developed by the Early Career and Trainee Committee, ExpertLink is designed to help members make connections, engage within ISHLT, and find answers to questions about clinical and professional pathways and challenges.
Since you have an active ISHLT membership, you’re already eligible to be an Expert! Experts are those willing to answer questions from other ISHLT members about a particular subject, and self-identify the
topics and subjects they would like to be contacted about.
Why Be an Expert?
- Volunteer at a pace that suits your busy lifestyle. The role of Expert can be executed in short bursts throughout the year.
- Give back to the international body of healthcare professionals, researchers, and allied health professionals that make up the multidisciplinary ISHLT community.
- Get more networking and connection opportunities out of your ISHLT membership year-round, even when you’re staying remote.
- Establish yourself as a thought leader in a particular field or aspect of the profession
If you’d like to volunteer, review the
Expert Expectations, and start completing the
Expert enrollment form on ISHLTconnect.
